About Us

Welcome

Hibly and Saul welcome you to Kennick Barn our home in a secluded corner of Dartmoor national Park. We live here with our two cats Millie and Tilly and our small flock of hens. Ravens, buzzards and swallows fly overhead and our meadow buzzes with insect life in the summer.

Here you’ll find a secluded hideaway from the stresses of life, on a typical day all you’ll hear is sheep and birdsong, with the occasional passing tractor.

Just down the road are three beautiful reservoirs with many walks to explore by the water, through the woods and down to the local villages of Christow and Bridford both of which have welcoming pubs for a meal or just a pint of local cider.

At the reservoirs you can fish, for trout in Kennick and for pike in Trenchford, check out www.swlakestrust.org.uk for more information.

We are within the boundary of the national park with all that has to offer, walks, views, wildlife, quaint towns and villages and ancient sites www.dartmoor.gov.uk will give you all you need to know about this unique area.
